Invisalign® in Roseville, CA

For ultimate camouflage, tray or aligner systems offer a modern straightening method. Designed with sophisticated software and 3D digital models of your teeth, a series of clear plastic trays are made. Medical-grade plastic without wires, metal, springs, or rubber bands gently moves your teeth into place. Gradual pressure on specific teeth with each aligner means less discomfort and, in many cases, shortened treatment times. Your provider dispenses several sets of aligners at a time, allowing you to change to a new one at home every two weeks.

Removable trays can be set aside for short periods allowing normal eating and cleaning. Enjoying an apple without the intrusion of brackets and wires works well for many patients. And the smooth plastic surface offers a comfort level to the tongue and cheeks unequaled by other forms of straightening.

Committing to consistent wear, at least 22 hours each day, helps ensure the success of your treatment. While clear aligners work extremely well for adults, a responsible teen can be a candidate too. And adults of every age have discovered the perks of straight teeth with aligners.

Invisalign® can:

  • Straighten your teeth in stealth mode

  • Allow you to eat the foods you like during treatment

  • Make cleaning and brushing easy

  • Close eye-catching gaps

  • Correct overlap/crowding issue

Something For Everyone

While aligner treatment works for 90% of straightening cases, some tooth movements may not be possible. Or you may prefer the security of fixed braces. Today’s orthodontics offer more choices than ever. Dr. Nina Aujla can help you discover the path to a straighter smile.

You may discuss adding whitening to your plan, removing years of yellow stain accumulation. In some cases, the beauty of porcelain lifts a straight smile to another level or may even offer an alternative to orthodontics.

The smile you’ve always dreamed of may be closer than you think with flexible payment options and more insurance plans choosing to cover clear aligners as an acceptable method of orthodontic treatment. Check with our office today for more information.

Benefits of Invisalign

Invisalign is an ideal alternative to braces for those that don't want a mouthful of metal just to get a straighter, more beautiful smile. While the before and after of an Invisalign mouth may shock you -- they're often as powerful as braces and can bring out a transformative change for just about anyone that wants a better smile -- Invisalign can also be a confidence booster, encouraging you to flash that smile more often, helping you set your best foot forward at work, school or out in public.

Better Than Braces

It's also easier than ever to straighten your teeth with Invisalign, and that can help you get around those unsightly braces that -- let's be honest -- makes your smile a lot worse before it makes it any better. Sure, you might get a great smile after a year or two of wearing braces, but that's a long 12 or 24 months of having a bunch of metal and wires mucking up your smile.

Instead, your smile can look great before, during and after Invisalign, which makes it much easier to integrate into your life when you're not dealing with wires, rubber bands and those unmistakable braces that sit on your teeth 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Easier to Clean

Because Invisalign trays are removable, you can take them out whenever you have to drink, eat or if you just want a reprieve from your aligners. Once they're out of your mouth, they can be safely stored away or cleaned, and that's more than we can say for braces that are always stuck to your teeth. You still have to wear your Invisalign aligners while you sleep and for 22 of the day's 24 hours, but even a few minutes here and there can be enough to give you the break you need before and after the Invisalign aligners go back in.

Braces, on the other hand, are notoriously difficult to clean and they frequently get food stuck in and around each of the braces. That can cause additional tooth decay if you're not keeping up with your brushing, and even the ceramic braces are prone to discoloration over time.

Less Visits to the Dentist

With metal braces, you'll have to head in for all kinds of adjustments such as tightening of the wires or rubber brands that hold everything in place. Invisalign trays need nothing of the sort. You'll get a new set of trays every few weeks, but no adjustments will need to be made before and after you receive your Invisalign aligners. Simply toss the old trays and start using the new set and you'll be moving closer to the end of your treatment in no time at all.

In fact, many patients receive their trays in advance so you can swap them out at home and only see your dentist if there's a problem or to check on the progress.

Keep That Same Diet

Braces often force you to change your diet somewhat. Things like popcorn and candy have an uncanny ability to get stuck in your dental work, causing damage to your teeth or the dental work itself. Gums, taffies and other types of sweets are all no-go’s, and certain drinks such as coffees, wines and sodas may even stain your braces.

With Invisalign, you'll be able to keep your diet consistent, though we do suggest cutting down on acidic drinks and sweet candies and foods because all of it can cause tooth decay and generally wreak havoc on your beautiful smile.
